Lenders pay us a commission once your loan settles — there's no fee to you. We're licensed to disclose every commission in writing before you sign anything, and we only get paid if your loan settles.
No — we research lenders, structure scenarios, and compare rates without lodging any credit enquiries. We only submit a formal application (which touches your file) once you've chosen a lender and given the green light.
First call to pre-approval is usually 5–10 business days, depending on how quickly we can collect your documents. From accepted contract to settlement is typically 4–6 weeks for purchases, and 2–4 weeks for refinances.
No — we're accredited with 25+ lenders including all the majors, plus second-tier banks, non-banks, credit unions, and specialist self-employed and investor lenders. We choose based on what fits, not who pays us most.
Complicated is what we do. Self-employed, casual, contract, multiple ABNs, recent bankruptcy, low deposit, family pledge, SMSF — there's almost always a lender who'll say yes. The trick is knowing which one.
Only if a switch makes sense. Sometimes the best result is a sharper rate from your current bank — we'll happily negotiate that for you and tell you honestly when staying put beats switching.
